Bhashyam Public School

Being located in the Bazaar area of Eluru means there is always something going on right outside our doors. It’s a 534001 address and it’s right where the action is. You can hear the market sounds throughout the day, which is just something we have gotten used to. The school building sits among all the shops and busy streets. We have a lot of stairs and the hallways aren't very wide, but we make it work for the students. Bhashyam Public School isn't a quiet retreat, that’s for sure. We spend a lot of time organizing the daily routine because with so many kids in such a central spot, things can get messy fast. We have a small area for the staff to sit and handle the paperwork. Most of our day is spent dealing with simple things like lost pens or making sure the blackboards are cleaned for the next teacher. Eluru is a warm place, so we rely on the ceiling fans a lot. Sometimes parents stop by on their way to the market to check on how their kids are doing. It feels very connected to the neighborhood because everyone knows where the Bazaar is. We don't have a giant campus with fields, but we use the space we have as well as possible. It’s just a honest, busy school in a very busy part of town.
