Csi English Medium High School

If you go down Gun Bazar Street in Eluru, you will find our school. It’s an old part of the town and the street can get pretty cramped with people and bikes. The school itself has a long history here. It’s a high school, so we deal with the older kids who are getting ready for their final exams. Those years are always a bit stressful for everyone. We have several rows of classrooms and a small office where we keep all the student records in big metal cupboards. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat away. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every corner of the building gets used for something. During the rainy season, the street outside can get a bit muddy, but the kids still make it in. We follow the regular curriculum and make sure the English lessons are done properly. It's not a flashy place, just a solid building made of brick and mortar where learning happens. We have a few trees in the courtyard that give some shade during the hot months. The teachers have been here for years and they know most of the families in Eluru by name. It’s a local place through and through. We just try to provide a steady environment for the students to do their work and pass their classes so they can move on.
