Our factory is located at 15 Vipin Garden, right along the Najafgarh Road. If you know this part of the city, you know the traffic can be a real headache, but it’s a good spot for moving heavy equipment like transformers. The yard is usually full of metal casings, copper wire, and some old pallets waiting to be hauled away. We’ve been in this building for years, and it shows in the oil stains on the concrete and the way the metal roof pings when the sun gets hot. Inside, the air is heavy with the smell of welding and industrial paint. We don’t have a lot of fancy office space; there’s just a small partitioned area with a couple of desks and a filing cabinet that won't lock properly. Most of our day is spent on the floor, making sure the coils are wound right and the testing equipment is giving us the correct readings. It’s a loud environment, so we’ve all learned to talk over the noise of the grinders and the overhead crane. We eat our lunch in shifts because someone always needs to be watching the floor. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters, just a place where we build things with our hands and try to keep everything moving according to the schedule.
