Cabanas Kebabs & Kurrys

We are set up in Shop 5 and 6 of the I 1 block in Kirti Nagar. It is a busy part of Delhi, and being so close to the Metro Station means there are always people walking past our door. You can hear the trains every few minutes if you listen closely. We spend most of our time around the grills and the stoves. The smell of the charcoal and the spices is just part of the air here. It gets pretty hot in the kitchen, especially during the summer months, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood is full of shops and warehouses, so there is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around during the day. We are not a big corporate chain, just a couple of shops joined together where we put out the tables and chairs. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is nice and people want to be out near the station. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just the basics that work for a meal. The staff has been here for a bit, and we all know the routine of opening the shutters and setting up the menu boards. It is honest work in a loud, crowded part of the city. We just stay focused on the food and making sure the shop is ready for whoever comes off the metro looking for something to eat.
