Vaibhav General Store

Our store is over in the Paschim Vihar Dda Market. It’s one of those places that stays busy because people in the neighborhood need things every day. We open up pretty early because that’s when everyone is out getting their morning supplies before work. The shelves are usually packed tight and we try to keep things where people can find them, though it gets a bit messy when it’s busy during the evening rush. We’ve been in this Dda Market spot for a long time now. Most of our customers are people we see every week, so we know most of their faces and what they usually come in for. It’s a small space, so you really have to watch your step when we’re unloading new stock from the delivery truck in the back. We don’t have fancy displays or bright flashing signs. It’s just a regular general store where we sell what people ask for. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, like when it’s too hot in the summer and the small fans just move the warm air around the aisles. But we stay open regardless. We handle the billing ourselves and try to keep the line moving so nobody has to wait too long. It’s just us running the place day in and day out. We like being part of the local market here in Paschim Vihar. It feels right to be where people actually live and do their shopping. No big speeches about what we do, just keeping the shelves full every single day.
