Anand S Mart

If you are near the Janak Palace District Centre in Janakpuri, you will find Anand S Mart at LCA-4. We are a small general store, really. We keep the basic things that people need for their homes every day. From snacks and cold drinks to soaps and detergents, it is all squeezed in there on the shelves. The aisles are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful not to knock things over with your bag. We have been here for a while, and we have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. The lighting inside is a bit yellow, and the floor has some scuffs from all the foot traffic. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most people find us because they live or work nearby and need to grab something quick on their way home. We spend a lot of time restocking the shelves and checking all the expiry dates on the milk and bread. It is not a huge supermarket; it is just a mart where you can get what you need and go. We know our regulars' favorite brands of tea or which biscuits they like. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we run out of fresh items, which is annoying for everyone. But we just keep at it, opening the doors every morning and saying hello to the neighbors. It is just a regular local shop for people living around here.
