Rohini Salt Traders

Out here in Daulatpur at Plot No 59 in A Block, things move at a bit of a different pace. We deal in salt, which sounds simple but there is a lot more to it than people think when you’re handling it in bulk. Rohini Salt Traders has been operating from this location for quite a while now. If you walk into our space, you’ll probably notice a fine white dust on everything. It just comes with the territory. We spend our days moving heavy sacks and coordinating with suppliers to make sure we have enough stock for the local markets. It’s physical work and it can be quite tiring during the summer months when the heat really picks up in the warehouse. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a marketing team. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years. We just keep our records in big ledgers and try to stay on top of the orders. The neighbors in A Block are used to the trucks coming in and out at early hours. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs during our break and just watch the street. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide a basic staple that everyone needs. It is honest work and we are proud to be part of the local community here in Daulatpur. We keep it straightforward and just focus on the salt bags that need moving today.
