We are based on the second floor of building number 37 in the NWA area of Punjabi Bagh Extension. If you know this part of Delhi, it’s a mix of houses and small businesses, so it feels a bit more relaxed than an industrial zone. Getting up the stairs to the second floor every day keeps us active, although the steps are a bit narrow when we have to carry boxes or heavy files up and down. Our space at Sst Impex Pvt.Ltd. is mostly for handling the paperwork side of the business. We spend most of the day on our computers and dealing with all the documents that come with trading different goods. It isn’t the most exciting thing to talk about, but it’s our daily reality. The rooms are usually filled with stacks of folders and paper that just seem to keep growing no matter how much we file away. Punjabi Bagh is a decent place to be, and there are a few good tea stalls nearby for a break. We don't have a showroom or a big storefront. It is really just a bunch of desks and chairs where we try to keep the shipments moving like they are supposed to. Sometimes the internet is slow or a delivery gets delayed, but that’s just the nature of the business. We try to stay organized even when it gets busy and things feel a little bit messy for a week or two during the peak season.
