Silbatta Pure Veg

We are over in Subhash Nagar, right near the Gurudwara Baba Budha Sahib. Since we are a pure veg place, we get a lot of families from this neighborhood coming in to eat. It is a small shop, number 1/108, tucked away on the street. Delhi summers are quite tough, so we try our best to keep it cool inside for anyone who stops by for lunch. We started this place because we wanted to have a spot where locals could just get a simple vegetarian meal without any big fuss. The kitchen is small but we manage to make it work every day. Most days it is just the usual routine of prep work in the morning and then serving the crowd. We don't have any fancy decorations or posters on the walls. It is just plain and functional for the people who come here. The Gurudwara is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us for the first time. Sometimes the street gets narrow and very crowded with bikes and scooters, but that is just how it is in this part of the city. We have known most of our customers for years. They usually live just around the corner or a couple of blocks away. It is nice to see the same faces every day. We keep the pots going from morning until we close. It is hard work but it keeps us busy.
