Shakti General Store

Shakti General Store is over here in Kirti Nagar at 503, right near the Chunna Bhatti landmark. Delhi is always moving fast, and this area is no exception. Our shop is just a small place packed to the ceiling with all kinds of stuff. We’ve got everything from light bulbs to lentils. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside, and you have to be careful not to knock anything over when you walk through the aisles. We’ve been here at this spot for a while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. The road outside is always full of trucks and bikes, so it stays pretty noisy. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that hum all day long. I usually stay behind the wooden counter while my son helps customers find what they are looking for. We don't do any big promotions or sales. People come to us because we are right here and we have the basics they need for their kitchens and homes. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the Delhi traffic, but we always manage to keep the essentials in stock. It’s a honest day's work, and we like being part of the local life here in Kirti Nagar. It's not a polished store, just a regular general shop for regular people who live nearby.
