Royal Gardens

We are situated at 2 Neelam Chowk, right near the Mundka Metro Station. If you take the metro, you can practically see us from the platform. It’s a very busy part of Delhi. There is always noise from the trains and the cars on the main road. The address is 110087. We’ve got a bit of space here which is rare for this area. It’s called Royal Gardens but don't expect a palace. It’s just a decent area with some plants where you can get away from the street for a minute. Most people come in after they finish work and are heading to the metro. We serve a lot of tea and snacks. The kitchen is always busy. I’ve been running this place with a couple of helpers for five years now. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking. We don’t use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just cook and serve. Sometimes the orders take a little longer when it's raining because everyone crowds inside. We try to keep the prices fair for the working folks. It’s a tough city, Delhi, and we are just happy to have a steady spot here at Neelam Chowk. It’s a simple business for simple people. We just close up when the last train passes. It’s a lot of work but it’s ours.
