Puran Store

Puran Store is our little shop at Wz-176 on the Main Road in Uttam Nagar. It’s pretty easy to find us if you’re looking for Metro Pillar Number 667. That pillar is basically our landmark for everyone. Uttam Nagar is a very busy place, and the main road is always packed with people and rickshaws. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the area change and the metro come in. The shop itself is just a regular local store. We keep a bit of everything that people in the neighborhood might need. It gets quite cramped inside when we have new stock arriving and customers coming in at the same time. The floor is a bit worn down from all the walking, but it’s a solid place. We don’t really do anything fancy here. It’s just about opening up in the morning, sweeping the front, and getting ready for the day. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets flooded after a heavy rain, and we just have to deal with it like everyone else. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if it’s just us working the counter. We see the same faces every morning when people are heading to the metro. It’s a noisy, busy life on the Main Road, but we like being right in the middle of it all. Not much to complain about, really.
