We are over in Mahindra Apartments in Vikaspuri, specifically at unit A-201. It is more of a home-office setup where Randeep Das and the rest of the team handle the local coordination for our projects. Being inside an apartment complex means it is usually a bit quieter than being in a big commercial building downtown. We do a lot of the administrative work, the payroll, and the scheduling for Punj Lloyd from this location. It involves a lot of sitting at desks and going through endless spreadsheets and reports. We have been here for a while, and the setup really works for us. The security guards at the main gate know our faces by now. We do not have a big reception area or any fancy lobby for visitors. It is just a few rooms filled with computers, printers, and binders. We often find ourselves working late into the evening when a project is at a critical stage and things are getting stressful. It is a practical way to run things without having to deal with the overhead of a big office. We try to keep everything simple and honest. The kitchen stays busy because we make a lot of tea and coffee throughout the day to keep us going. We aren't trying to sell anything to anyone; we just handle the engineering and construction tasks that come our way. It is a busy life, but it is good to have a steady place.
