You can find Dlf Laing O'Rourke India Limited over at House No.40 in Ambica Vihar. We are situated right near the GH-13 and GH-14 flats. It’s a pretty residential area, so it stays fairly calm compared to the main roads of New Delhi. We like the slower pace here. The office is basically a house that we’ve converted into a working space over time. It has a small kitchen where we make way too much chai during the day to keep us going. We aren't fancy people by any stretch. Our desks are a bit mismatched and the floor creaks in a few spots when you walk across it. We’ve been here long enough that the local postman knows us by name. Most of our day is spent dealing with the logistics of our projects. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking off lists on clipboards. We don't have a big reception desk or a shiny sign in the lobby. We just get on with the work. Sometimes it gets a little crowded when everyone is in at once for a meeting. We share the space and help each other out when things get busy. It's a simple way to run a business, but it works for us. We don’t really care for the polished look of big city offices. We'd rather just have a comfortable place to sit and do our jobs. That’s what this house provides for us.
