We’re based out of Wz-26 in Punjabi Bagh. It’s a familiar part of Delhi, and our building is just one of many in this busy area. Portdex Exim Pvt. Ltd. isn’t some massive headquarters with a glass front. It’s a more modest setup, the kind where you know everyone’s name and where the coffee comes from. The streets around Punjabi Bagh are always full of life, with cars honking and people moving about their day. Our office is a bit of a refuge from that outside noise, though you can still hear the city through the windows. We deal with export and import stuff, which means a lot of time spent on the phone and looking at shipping papers. The desks are covered in documents, and there’s always a calendar on the wall marked up with dates. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just focus on making sure the goods get from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the electricity flickers, but we just deal with it and keep going. It’s a very grounded way to work. We’ve been at Wz-26 for a while now, and we’ve grown attached to the neighborhood. There are some good spots nearby for a quick lunch, and the evening air usually brings a bit of a breeze. It’s just us doing our daily job in a busy corner of Delhi.
