Polter Engineering Co

Polter Engineering Co is our workshop in Daulatpur, located at number 1629. It’s been in the family for two generations now. It’s a modest building where we do all kinds of mechanical and engineering work. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell of cutting oil and the sound of the old lathes turning. We aren't a high-tech factory with robots and clean rooms. We are a small team of three people who use our hands and older machines to get things done. We fix parts for local farmers and small businesses around Daulatpur. The walls are covered in old calendars and tools that have been hanging there since my uncle’s time. It’s not a polished environment, and there’s always metal shavings on the floor, but we know how to fix things that others would just throw away. We don't have a marketing plan or a salesperson. People just know we are here at 1629 and they bring their broken parts to us. Sometimes we sit on the bench outside when the machines are cooling down and just watch the traffic go by. It’s a quiet life in some ways, but we stay busy enough. We take pride in the fact that our repairs last a long time. It’s just how we were taught to work. We’ve been here at 1629 for decades and plan to stay.
