Persian Carpet

We are located in Uttam Nagar, specifically in the Z 1 area. This is a busy part of the city, and the streets are always full of people and rickshaws moving about. Our space is where we keep all the carpets. It’s not like a big department store. It’s more of a place where things are stacked up and you have to move a few things around to see everything. The smell of wool and textiles is pretty strong when you first walk in, but you stop noticing it after a minute. We spend a lot of our time unrolling rugs and showing the patterns to whoever comes by. The floors are covered in different pieces we're working on or sorting through. It can get a bit messy with threads and dust, but that’s just how it goes with carpets. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright spotlights. We use whatever light comes in from the front and some old overhead bulbs. Most of us have been working with these kinds of rugs for a long time. It’s hard work moving the heavy ones around, especially when it’s hot outside. We keep a small fan going in the corner to stay cool. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello or ask about a specific size. It’s a very local, hands-on kind of business. We just do our thing and let the work speak for itself.
