Decent Decorator

I run Decent Decorator from our base in Janakpuri, specifically at WZ-33/3. This is basically a business where we help people set up their celebrations. It’s not about being fancy; it’s about making a space look right for a wedding or a birthday party. I’ve lived in Janakpuri most of my life, and I started this business after helping out with a few family functions. We have a lot of stuff stored at WZ-33/3, from colorful drapes and carpets to light sets and flower stands. It’s a lot of physical work. People don’t see the hours we spend loading the truck and then setting everything up under the hot sun. Sometimes we are working through the night to make sure everything is ready for a morning ceremony. I have a small crew of guys who work with me, and we’ve become quite fast at it. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood who have seen our work at other parties. I try to be honest about what can be done within a certain budget. Things don't always go perfectly, like when the weather turns bad, but we always find a way to fix it.
