Patiala shahi chicken corner

Our little shop is right on the Main Najafgarh road, specifically at shop number 9/4 in Ram Nagar. If you are taking the metro, just look for pillar number 707 and you are basically there. Being in Uttam Nagar means there is always traffic and people moving about, which keeps us pretty occupied. We focus on chicken, hence the name. It’s a small corner spot, nothing too grand. We spend most of our day in the kitchen. The heat can be a lot in the Delhi summers, but we are used to it by now. People usually find us by looking for the pillar or just seeing the crowd out front. We try to keep the recipes simple and straightforward. Some customers have been coming to us since we first opened this spot. We don't have a lot of seating, so it’s more of a quick bite or a takeaway kind of place. The street noise is just part of the atmosphere here. We keep our supplies fresh and get things started early in the morning. It’s a lot of chopping and marinating before the first customer even walks in. Working in Delhi is fast-paced, and we just try to keep the food coming out consistently. We don't bother with fancy menus or advertising. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or just happen to walk past while heading to the metro station. It’s a practical business, and we just enjoy feeding the local crowd.
