Oriental Structural Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is located over in Khayala. We are on the first floor of building E-493. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it, but we like it here. We’ve been doing structural engineering for a good while now. It’s basically just making sure that whatever is being built is going to stay standing. We spend our days looking at blueprints and talking to contractors. There’s nothing very fancy about our setup. We have a few rooms, some old chairs, and a lot of technical manuals. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just write down what we’re doing and try to keep the clients updated. Khayala is a busy neighborhood, and there is always something going on outside our windows. It can be a bit noisy, but you get used to it. We try to be practical in everything we do. If a design won't work, we say so. We don't like wasting time with corporate talk or big promises we can't keep. It is just a small group of us working together. Most days we are just trying to get through the pile of work on our desks. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to build things right so they don't cause any trouble later on. It is a living, and we take pride in doing it properly.
