Onkar Exports

Onkar Exports is located at A-33 in the National Market area of Peeragarhi. It is a very busy market, and things start early here. By the time we get to the shop, the streets are already full of people and goods being moved around. Our space is right in the middle of it. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible on hand. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. We spend a lot of time climbing ladders to pull things down. There’s no air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that do their best in the Delhi heat. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s a noisy place with the traffic from Peeragarhi just around the corner, but you get used to it after a while. We know most of the other shop owners on the block and we share a lot of the same challenges, like the narrow roads and the occasional power cut. We don't do much marketing or anything; people just know we are here at A-33. We focus on getting the orders packed and making sure the quality is what it should be. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it for a long time. It’s just a regular day-to-day business where we try to do right by the people we work with and keep the orders moving out.
