National Highway 44

Even though our name sounds like the long road, National Highway 44 is actually right in Rajouri Garden in Delhi. You can find us at C 13, Vishal Enclave. We are almost exactly opposite Metro Pillar Number 414. If you take the metro, it’s a very short walk. The area is always crowded and full of energy. We set up this place to give people a spot to eat and hang out in the middle of all the shopping and noise of Rajouri. It’s a big space and we tried to make it feel a bit different from the other shops around here. We have a lot of different dishes on the menu. Running a restaurant in this part of Delhi is a challenge because everyone has so many choices. We just focus on our own kitchen and making sure the food comes out right. The staff is usually running around because the weekends get very busy. It’s not a quiet or polished place; it’s loud and full of life, just like the rest of the neighborhood. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to serve meals and see people enjoying their time. It’s a tough business, but seeing the same people come back makes it worth the effort. Every night we clean up and get ready for the next day's rush. You can hear the metro trains passing by outside if you listen closely. It’s just part of being in this busy enclave. We keep things simple.
