Mahajan Store

You can find Mahajan Store right in the middle of the Main Market in Rajouri Garden. We are at F 119, quite close to the Chok. The market is always crowded, especially on weekends, so it gets pretty lively around here. We have been running this store for a while, selling the things people need for their homes. It is a typical Delhi shop where the shelves are packed from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it's hard to find a specific item quickly, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. It's nice to recognize people when they walk in. We don't do much advertising because most people just know we are here. The shop isn't very large, so things can get a bit cramped when three or four customers are inside at once. We just keep things moving. The address is easy to find if you know the Rajouri Garden area well. We open early to get things ready before the morning rush starts. It is a family-run kind of thing. We talk to the other shopkeepers nearby and keep an eye on each other’s places. It is just a straightforward retail life. We aren't trying to be the biggest store, just a reliable one for the local folks who live nearby and need their daily supplies. We just do what we do and stay open late enough for everyone to get their shopping done.
