Our shop is tucked away in Gali No.34 in Mahavir Enclave Part 2. Most people know the area because of the power house near Sec.2 Dwarka. It gets pretty dusty around here with all the wood we cut, but that is just part of the work. I usually start the day early, sweeping the floor and moving some of the chairs or tables toward the front so people can see them from the street. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular workshop where we spend most of our time measuring things and trying to get the joints right. Sometimes the traffic in Uttam Nagar gets so bad that the noise comes right into the back room, but you get used to it after a few years. We have stacks of plywood and solid wood taking up most of the space. My brother usually handles the customers while I stay in the back with the tools. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just the workspace and a few finished pieces sitting around. Usually, people come in because they saw something through the door or a neighbor told them we were here. It is a bit cramped, especially when we have a big project going on, but we manage. Tea breaks happen whenever we find a spare minute. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, right here near the power house. B-615 is the plot number if you are looking for it.
