Khera Departmental Store

You can find us at Rz G 49/1 & 2 in Nihal Vihar. We are located right on the 50 Feet Road in the Nangloi area of Delhi. There is a Hanuman Mandir nearby, which is a good landmark if you are looking for the shop. The street is usually crowded with bikes and people, especially in the evenings. We call it a departmental store, but it’s really just a large neighborhood shop where we try to keep a bit of everything. I’m usually here all day, sitting behind the counter or helping someone find a specific brand of flour. The Delhi summer is no joke, so we have a cooler running to keep the place bearable. We have stacks of bins and crates piled up because there is never enough shelf space for everything we want to carry. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We know the people around Nihal Vihar well. They stop in to pick up groceries or just to say hello. We don't have a fancy logo or anything like that. Just the name on the front and the goods inside. It’s a lot of work to keep up with the demand, but we manage. We try to stay stocked with the things people need for their daily meals. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know how to do.
