Kapurthala Motors

Kapurthala Motors is located at B 113 in Ganesh Nagar, right near the Tilak Nagar area. We are basically a garage that deals with all the mechanical stuff cars need. The floor is usually covered in some amount of oil or grease, no matter how much we clean it. That’s just the nature of the job when you’re pulling engines apart or fixing brakes all day long. We have a few guys working here who have been under car hoods since they were kids. It’s a noisy place with the sound of wrenches clanking and engines revving up for testing. We don't have a waiting lounge with fancy coffee; usually, people just stand around or go get a tea from the stall nearby while we finish the work. The neighborhood is mostly residential and small shops, so we get a lot of regular neighbors bringing in their family cars for oil changes or when they hear a weird rattling sound. We keep a lot of spare parts stacked in the back room, though sometimes it takes a minute to dig out exactly what we need for an older model. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. We just focus on getting the cars back on the road so people can get to work.
