Ashu Motors

We are based in the Maya Puri Industrial Area, over in Phase-1. If you know the area, it's mostly workshops and factories around here. Ashu Motors is right at B-71/2. It’s a busy spot with lots of grease and the sound of tools going all day long. My brother and I have been working on engines and parts for a long time. The floor is usually covered in some kind of oil, and there's always a half-finished job waiting for someone to get back to it. It’s noisy and dusty, but that’s just how industrial areas are. We don't have a waiting room with coffee or anything like that. People usually just drop their things off and we get to work. We’ve got a lot of old tools that still work better than the new ones. Sometimes we have to wait a couple of days for parts to arrive, but we try to keep things moving as fast as we can. The neighbors are all doing similar stuff, so it’s a lot of metal clanging and trucks moving in the street. We’ve been at this location for years and know most of the people nearby. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and fix what needs fixing. We keep a small radio in the corner, but you can barely hear it over the noise.
