J D Automobiles is located right here in Subhash Nagar 3. It's a small workshop where we deal with cars and bikes all day long. My hands are usually covered in grease by noon, which is just part of the job. We have a few lifts and some basic tools to get through the daily repairs. People from the neighborhood bring their vehicles in when they hear a weird noise or need an oil change. It’s not a huge place, so things can get a bit cramped when we have three or four cars parked inside. Subhash Nagar is a lively area, and we’re glad to be a part of it. We don't really bother with big signs or flashy lights. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby and trust us to look at their engines. We try to keep the spare parts organized, but sometimes the shop gets messy when we’re in the middle of a big engine job. My brother helps out with the electrical stuff. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. Sometimes it's a quick fix, other times we're stuck under a hood for hours. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't have a waiting room with a TV or anything like that. People just drop their keys off and go about their day. It's how we've always run the place since we started. Most people find us through word of mouth.
