Ashu Motors

Ashu Motors is sitting right on the main road of the Mayapuri Industrial Area in Phase I. Our address is B 71/2. If you have ever spent any time in Mayapuri, you know the whole place is dedicated to cars and scrap metal. Our shop fits right in with everything else. We usually have cars parked out front in various stages of being fixed up. Some are just empty shells and others are nearly ready to be driven away. The ground is always stained with dark oil, no matter how much we try to scrub it clean. We have a couple of hydraulic lifts and a huge collection of heavy tools that we use every day. It is a loud place to work with the constant sound of pneumatic wrenches and engines revving. We focus on engine work mostly. It is dirty work and we go home every evening with black grease stuck under our fingernails. We have a small workbench where we keep our spare parts and some old rags for cleaning up. The sun really beats down on the main road, but we stay under the shade of our workshop roof most of the time. We don't have any fancy air-conditioned waiting rooms for our customers. People usually just hang around the shop or come back later in the afternoon. We handle the jobs as they come in.
