Kanishka Garden

Kanishka Garden is located out on N H 10, right on the Main Road. It’s a very busy spot because we are near the Nangloi Metro Railway Station. You can hear the trains passing by and the constant hum of traffic from the highway. Rohtak Nangloi is a place that never really sleeps, and we are part of that cycle. Our space has a bit of a garden area, though keeping plants alive next to a main road in 110041 isn't the easiest task. We spend a lot of time watering and cleaning up the dust that blows in from the heavy trucks. The building itself is older, and we’ve had to fix the roof and the walls more times than I can count. We aren't a corporate chain. It’s just us trying to keep the place running every day. People stop by because they are tired from the metro or they are driving long distances on the highway. We don't have a fancy menu with photos. It’s just a list of what we can cook well. Sometimes the service is a little slow if we’re short-staffed, but we do our best to get things out. The kitchen is the heart of the place, and it stays pretty loud in there. We’ve been here long enough that the local drivers know us by name. It’s a hard life working near the highway, but it’s our life. We hope people feel okay when they sit down and eat something warm. This is just how we manage things on the main road.
