Jolly Fruit Shop

We set up Jolly Fruit Shop here on Phankha Road a while back. The exact spot is RZ-35/36 in Uttam Nagar. It is a lively area with plenty of people moving around at all hours. The shop is right on the main stretch of Phankha Road, so it gets a lot of dust from the road, but we try to keep things as clean as we can. We get our stock early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and the street gets blocked by trucks. Jolly Fruit Shop is not very big, but we use the space well. We have crates stacked up along the walls at RZ-35/36. Sometimes the delivery trucks take a bit of time to navigate the Uttam Nagar traffic, which can be a real headache. We usually have two or three people working here at a time. It’s hard work, lifting heavy boxes and making sure everything looks okay on the shelves. We don't use any fancy lighting or displays. It's just us and the goods at RZ-35/36. People from the nearby colonies come by every day to see what is fresh for the day. We know most of them by name now. It’s a good community around Phankha Road. We’ve been at this same location for years and haven't thought about moving anywhere else. Jolly Fruit Shop is just part of the neighborhood routine for many. We stay open until the last of the daily crowd finally heads home for the night.
