Jay Pee Stores

You can find Jay Pee Stores at Tilak Nagar 24/53 - A, 4. We have been running this shop for a good while now. It is a standard neighborhood store where we try to keep a bit of everything that people might need at home. We have plastic buckets, cleaning supplies, snacks, and toiletries. The aisles are very narrow because we have squeezed so many shelves into the space. You often have to wait for someone else to move before you can walk down the aisle. I am usually found standing near the front by the old metal cash box. I enjoy talking to the people who live nearby when they stop in for their daily groceries. We do not have any of those modern computer systems, just a simple calculator and a notebook for the accounts. The front of the store gets a lot of direct sunlight in the afternoon so it can get pretty warm in here. I have a small wooden stool I sit on when there are no customers. It takes a lot of effort to keep track of what we are running out of. Sometimes the delivery people are late and I have to tell the regulars we are out of certain things. It is just a small, local shop and it is a bit dusty, but we know everyone who comes in. We just keep things going one day at a time.
