Jain Provision Store

We have been running this shop in Janakpuri for quite some time now. You can find us at Shop No-7 in the C-5A Market area. It is pretty easy to spot because we are right near the C-4 Gurudwara. Most mornings start early here, usually around 8 or 9 when the shutters go up and the first few people from the neighborhood stop by to grab things they forgot for breakfast. The space inside isn't huge, but we make it work by stacking things high on the wooden shelves. Sometimes the delivery guys arrive at the same time and it gets a bit crowded near the door, especially when the bags of flour or pulses are being moved in. The market can get noisy in the evenings with all the cars and people walking back from work, but it feels like home to us. We know most of the people who live in the blocks around here by their first names or just by what they usually buy every Tuesday. There is always something to do, like checking the inventory or cleaning the counter. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays organized enough for the next day. It is just a regular shop where you get your daily essentials without much fuss. If you are ever walking past the Gurudwara, you’ll probably see us sitting there or helping someone carry a heavy bag to their scooter.
