J P Engineers is situated at C-163 in the Mayapuri Indl Area. If you’ve ever been to Mayapuri, you know it’s all about metal, machines, and grease. Our workshop is no different. It’s a loud place most of the time with the sounds of cutting and grinding. We’ve got the usual setup of lathes and tools scattered around. It isn't a place for fancy clothes; you’re going to get some oil on you if you stay too long. We handle engineering jobs that come our way, mostly fixing parts or making new ones to spec. We don't have a shiny lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and find one of us. Usually, someone is under a machine or leaning over a workbench. The heat in the summer gets pretty bad in Mayapuri, so we have a few big fans going all day. We’ve been at C-163 for a long time and we know most of the other shop owners on the block. We help each other out with tools sometimes. It’s a tough environment but we like the work. There’s a certain satisfaction in fixing something that was broken. We don't write big reports or have long meetings. We just look at the problem, figure out a fix, and get to work. It’s practical, hard work, and that’s just how we like to keep things here at J P Engineers. No fluff, just the job at hand every single day.
