J. K. Machines

J.K. Machines is located at E-64A in Jeevan Park, Uttam Nagar. If you’ve ever been to Uttam Nagar, you know it’s a very busy and crowded part of the city. Our workshop is tucked away in one of the lanes, and it’s always full of the sound of metal being worked on. We have a few old lathes and some drill presses that have seen better days, but they still work perfectly fine for what we need. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and there’s always a faint smell of machine oil in the air. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s a real working shop where things actually get built. We don’t have an office staff; it’s mostly just the guys on the floor doing the heavy work. Sometimes a customer will come in with a broken part and we’ll see if we can fix it right then and there. It’s a lot of manual labor and standing on your feet all day. We keep the doors open to let some air in, though it also lets in the dust from the street. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time, and most of the other shop owners nearby are friends of ours. We don’t do any fancy marketing, just honest work for people who need machines handled right. It’s a simple life and we enjoy the hands-on nature of the work.
