J K D Overseas

You can find us over at J-7/67 in Raja Garden. It’s a bit of a different feel here compared to the big industrial estates. J K D Overseas is run out of this spot, and it’s where all the paperwork and planning happens. Dealing with overseas stuff means we are often on the computer or the phone at odd hours because of the time differences. It’s not always a nine-to-five kind of job. Sometimes we’re here late waiting for a confirmation or a call from someone halfway across the world. The office isn't huge, but it's enough for what we need. We have a few desks, a lot of files, and a kettle that’s always getting a workout. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. Most of our business is done through long-standing contacts. It’s about building a bit of trust over time, not through some fancy brochure but just by doing what we said we’d do. We’ve been in Raja Garden for a good while and we like the area. It’s got a good energy to it. Sometimes the internet goes down or the power cuts out, and we just have to wait it out like everyone else. We don't pretend to be some giant multinational company. We are just a small group of people working hard to move goods from one place to another. It’s a lot of detail work and making sure the numbers match up. We just keep our heads down and do it.
