Industrial Equipments

You can find us up on the 10th floor of the Kirti Shikhar Building in Janakpuri. It’s unit 1016. Being that high up gives us a bit of a view, though we are usually too busy to look out the window. Industrial Equipments is the name we use, but it's really just a small team of us working in this office. It’s a bit cramped with all the catalogs and samples lying around. The elevator in this building is sometimes slow, so we have to plan ahead if we have a meeting. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on our computers. It's a lot of coordination and making sure equipment gets to the right sites. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. People mostly contact us because they know we've been around for a while. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks and it’s a minor disaster for the afternoon. We aren't some massive firm with hundreds of employees. We know each other well and we know our customers too. It’s a quiet office compared to the street noise down below in Janakpuri. We don't have a lot of rules, we just make sure the work gets finished. It’s a practical setup. We deal with heavy stuff but from a desk. It's a bit strange when you think about it, but it works for us. We've been in this building for several years now and it feels like our second home. We just get on with it and keep the files organized as best we can.
