Hans The Brassman

Hans The Brassman is located on the first floor of Plot No-J-220/23A in Vishnu Garden. To get to us, you have to walk up a narrow flight of stairs that can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. Vishnu Garden is a busy residential and industrial mix in West Delhi. There is always the sound of machines or someone hammering something nearby. Our space on the first floor is where we spend most of our time. It smells like metal and old floor cleaner. We have benches set up for our work, and the floors are usually covered in a bit of dust by the end of the day. It isn't a polished office with glass partitions. It is a working floor where things actually get made and handled. We have a few windows that look out over the street, but they are usually a bit grimy from the city air. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the routine. Most days involve a lot of standing and moving things around. We drink a lot of tea to keep going, especially in the winter when it gets a bit chilly in the building. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. We don't put on any acts here. If you come by, you’ll just see us working in our regular clothes, trying to get the orders finished and out the door.
