Food Basket

We are tucked away in Paschim Vihar, specifically at A-5/10. Most people recognize our location because we are quite near Indra Prastha School. It’s a busy residential area, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We call our place Food Basket because that’s basically what we are—a spot where a lot of different food supplies come through before they head out to people’s kitchens. The space inside is mostly filled with shelves and crates. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a functional workspace where we pack things and check orders. Sometimes the delivery vans block the narrow street for a bit, and we have to go out and help them maneuver. It's a bit of a squeeze, but we make it work. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors all know us. We don't really use a lot of complex systems; we mostly rely on notebooks and a few computers to keep track of what's coming in and going out. It’s a bit messy at times, especially on Mondays when everything arrives at once, but we always find what we need eventually. We just like being the local spot where people can count on finding the basics. It’s not a big corporate chain, just a small operation run by a few of us who care about the neighborhood. We keep the lights on late into the evening to finish up the day's tasks.
