Our place is House No A 20 in Dharmpura, which is part of Najafgarh. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but for us, it is just where we work. Fluor Daniel India Pvt Ltd has been set up here for a while. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it feels quite different from the big business hubs in the city. You see kids playing in the street and neighbors talking over the walls. The house itself is pretty standard for this area. We’ve turned the rooms into work spaces, though you can still tell it was a home once. It’s got that lived-in feel, maybe a bit dusty if we haven't swept in a day or two. There is no big sign out front, just the house number and our name on a small plate. We don’t really bother with making things look perfect for visitors. It is a functional space where we handle our business. The walk from the main road can be a bit long in the heat, but it’s a good way to clear your head. We stay pretty quiet and just keep to ourselves mostly. The light in the afternoons is actually quite nice through the front windows. It is just a regular house in a regular part of New Delhi where we get our work done every day. It's nothing special to look at, but it works.
