We are Ercom Engineers Pvt Ltd, and you can find us at 36A in the Navyug Adarsh Apartments over in Vikaspuri, New Delhi 110018. It is a residential apartment complex, so our office feels more like a home than a sterile corporate space. We have converted a couple of the rooms into workspaces where we keep our computers and all our engineering gear. It is a bit tight sometimes when we have everyone in the office at once, but we make it work. The neighborhood is full of families and other small businesses, so there is a nice community feel to it. We don't have a big lobby or a secretary at the front. You just come in, and we are usually right there at our desks working on some technical drawings or checking through site specifications. Sometimes we meet clients in the living room area where we have a bigger table. We like being in Vikaspuri because it is easy for us to get to different parts of the city from here. The walls are covered with some old project photos and a calendar that we use to mark our deadlines. It is a simple setup without any of the fancy trimmings you see in the big glass buildings downtown. We just focus on the engineering work and making sure our calculations are correct before we send them out.
