Engineers Combined

We are located at Choudhary Niwas, which is basically a house turned into a workplace for Engineers Combined. Being in New Delhi but right on the edge of Haryana in 110 043, we get a mix of everything. The office feels lived-in. There is always a pot of tea going and some drawing spread out on the dining table. We aren't a big corporation with departments and managers. It’s just a few of us who decided to combine our skills to get things done. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to coordinate between suppliers and site workers. Sometimes the signals are bad or the trucks get delayed at the state border, which makes things interesting. We don't use fancy jargon when we talk to our clients. We just tell them what is possible and what isn't. Some days are slow, while others are a complete scramble to finish a report or a design. We like the independence of working from House No. 8-A. It allows us to focus on the work without all the office politics you find in the city center. We just want to do solid engineering work that doesn't fall apart and keep our reputations intact in the local community. It’s a simple life, and we’re fine with it. We just show up every morning and see what the day brings for the business.
