Engineers Co. India .(Prop.)

Our little corner in Paschim Vihar is located in Milansar Apartments, not far from the Peera Garhi area. Running Engineers Co. India .(Prop.) out of an apartment building means we have to keep things pretty quiet and organized, but it’s still a busy life. New Delhi is always moving fast, and we try to keep up without losing our heads. The office is small. It’s mostly just desks covered in papers and maps of the city. We do a lot of the back-end engineering work here before heading out to various project locations. It isn't a glamorous setup with a big sign out front. Most people just know us as the guys in 67. We deal with the local authorities and the technical side of things that most people find confusing. Sometimes the paperwork piles up and we have to spend a whole Saturday just clearing the desk. We don’t have a big staff, so we end up doing everything ourselves, from answering the door to checking the final drawings. It gets stressful when deadlines approach, but we’ve learned to manage. We just aim to be reliable and get the technical details right so the actual construction goes as it should. It’s just us doing our bit in a very big city, day in and day out, without any unnecessary bells or whistles.
