Starting early at Subhas Nagar is how most days go for us. We’ve been at 12/24 for a good while now, right near Rajori Garden where the traffic never really stops. This place gets busy with people coming in to talk about their building plans or asking how a project is coming along. It’s mostly just us handling the paperwork and making sure the sites have what they need. Sometimes the office is a bit messy with blueprints and receipts scattered around, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big fancy reception area. Just a few desks and some chairs for people to sit while we go over the details. It gets a bit noisy outside with the main road close by, but you get used to it after a few years. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or walking over to check on materials. It isn’t always easy keeping things on schedule when the weather gets bad or parts don't arrive on time, but that’s just how construction goes in Delhi. We try to stay organized even when three things are happening at once. The guys are usually out on site while a couple of us stay back here to keep the office running. It's a simple setup, really. No big signs or flashing lights, just our name on the door and a lot of work to get through before the sun goes down.
