Cosmos General Store

Cosmos General Store is over at Tilak Nagar New Market 16. It’s a pretty standard spot that stays busy most of the day. A lot of our time is spent just moving boxes and making sure the shelves aren't empty when people come in after work. Tilak Nagar is a lively place, so there’s always someone walking by or stopping in for a quick pack of biscuits or some washing powder. We aren't trying to be some big supermarket. Keeping track of what people in the neighborhood are asking for is mostly what we do here. Some days are slower than others, especially when it rains and the market gets quiet. The usual stuff you’d expect to find in a general store is all we’ve got. Nothing flashy. Knowing the regulars and what they usually want makes things easier for us. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit of a mess and we have to sort through everything on the floor. It’s just how it works here. Opening early and staying open until the market starts to wind down in the evening is the routine. There’s always something to clean or a shelf to fix. It’s a basic shop for basic needs. Fancy displays or anything like that aren't our style. Just regular work and a lot of talking to neighbors who come through the door is what you'll find. It’s been our daily routine for quite a long time now. We might not always have every single brand, but we try to keep the essentials stocked up for everyone.
