Chawla Overseas

Chawla Overseas is based on the second floor of C-189 in Vikaspuri. It is a residential-style building that we use for our business operations. We do overseas trade, which involves a lot of phone calls at odd hours because of the time differences with other countries. The office is pretty basic and functional. We have a few computers, some filing cabinets that are starting to overflow, and a big table for checking samples. Vikaspuri is a busy residential area, so parking is always a bit of a nightmare for us and our visitors. We have been here for a few years now. We handle a variety of products, whatever the market seems to need at the time. It is a lot of logistics and tracking shipments. Sometimes things get delayed at the port and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to figure out what happened to the containers. It is not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We don't have a big corporate team. It is just a few of us handling everything from the paperwork to the actual shipping. We often eat lunch at our desks while we wait for replies from agents in different time zones. The 11nd floor, as it says in our address, is actually the second, and the elevator doesn't work all the time. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just a reliable one that gets the job done.
