Bhambra Industries

Bhambra Industries is over at 3-B/90 in Vishnu Garden. It’s a residential-industrial mix of an area, so you’ll hear the sound of machines and the neighbor’s radio at the same time. We have our workshop set up here. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We make parts and do metalwork for whoever needs it. The floor is usually covered in some dust or metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to answer emails all day. If you want to talk, you usually have to come by or call the landline. We wear old clothes because the grease doesn't come out easily. Some of the machines we use are quite old, but they still run better than the new ones we bought last year. We work long hours, especially when there’s a big order to finish by Friday. The neighbors are used to us by now. We try to keep the doors shut to dampen the noise a bit. It’s not a glamorous job, but we take pride in the things we build. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. That's life in Vishnu Garden. We just keep doing what we know and hope the machines don't break down on a busy day.
