Our office for Bechtel India is at A 1 in Shivaji Vihar. This is in the New Delhi 110027 area, which is a fairly well-known spot if you live on this side of the city. It’s not far from the main road, but you still have to navigate some of the smaller lanes to get to us. Shivaji Vihar has its own rhythm. There are always people walking around, and the local shops are usually doing a good bit of business. The building we are in is quite standard for this part of Delhi. It isn't new, so it has some character, or maybe just some old walls that need a bit of paint. Inside, it’s just us doing our thing. We have the computers set up and enough space for the team to sit. It’s not a fancy layout with open plans or bean bags. It’s just desks and chairs. We deal with the usual city stuff like the occasional water shortage or the noise from the nearby market. It gets quite busy during the day, especially when the deliveries come in. We don’t really do anything fancy here. It’s just a place to come, do the work, and then head home. The location is convenient for most of us because the transport links are decent. It’s a very practical spot for a business like ours to be located in the heart of the city.
