Bajaj Engineers & Consultants Co is located at Bf 39 in Tagore Garden. We’ve been operating out of this house-turned-office for a while now. It’s a quiet residential street, so it doesn't feel like a typical business district. We have converted the front rooms into our workspace. There are blueprints pinned to the walls and stacks of files on almost every flat surface. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. If you knock on the door, one of the engineers will probably let you in. We spend a lot of our time looking at technical drawings or talking to people about construction sites. It’s not always glamorous work. Sometimes we are out in the dust and heat all day, and then we come back here to finish the paperwork. We have a couple of old computers and a large printer that hums loudly when it’s working. The tea stall at the corner is where we usually get our afternoon break. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group of people who know a lot about engineering and like to get things done right. We don't spend money on commercials or glossy brochures. Most of our projects come from word of mouth. It’s a steady way to work, and we’ve made a lot of friends in the neighborhood over the years. The parking outside is a bit tight but manageable.
