You can find SWAGAT FOODS VEG & NON VEG at house number 1-234/5 in Gokul Nagar. We are right beside Thirumala Bar & Restaurant, which makes us pretty easy to spot if you are walking through Hanamkonda. Our place is a bit of a mix because we do both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. We have separate areas in the kitchen to keep things right. It gets very hot back there with the big stoves going all at once. We don't have any air conditioning, just some big fans on the walls that move the air around. The floor is tiled so we can wash it down easily at the end of every night. We get a lot of people coming in after they finish work. Some just want a quick snack and others want a full meal to take home to their families. We don't use any pre-made mixes. Everything is ground up by hand or in the small grinder we have in the corner. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we keep cooking on the gas flames anyway. It's just part of living in this part of town. The neighborhood is mostly houses, so we know a lot of the people who live on this street. We try to keep the noise down late at night so we don't bother the neighbors too much. It’s a decent little business and we stay busy enough to keep the lights on and keep the kitchen running.
